FUTURE DAZE

No title, no publishing deal, no cover, no release date and probably no demand!

But apart from that...
I'm still going to ask you for money. As some of you already know I've been writing a weekly column for the Irish Examiner called 'Terrace Talk' for about five years now. The kind people at the paper have given me permission to bring all of this season's articles out in book form, to which I'll be adding a fairly lengthy overview. It's certainly been an eventful season hasn't it? I've no idea yet how all this is going to work, but it will more than likely be an independent production. In that case I'll have to raise the money for the printing from you good people.

I'm asking you to send me £6 for the book and £2 for the postage (£3 for those outside the UK). That may be a bit too much, and if it turns out to be cheaper there'll be refunds sent out with your book when it's finally (ahem) 'published'. This won't be such a big deal to TTW&R subscribers, who have often had to send me money without seeing anything for a few months!

Whether I can get it into bookshops or not is another matter, and maybe we'll get to sell it outside Anfield when the new season starts. I'm sorry if this is all terribly vague but what else did you expect?

Send your cheques payable to S KELLY to the usual address.

If you're one of those awful cynical types that I hate (because I'm so sweet and upbeat all the time) who only believes things when he/she sees them, you can keep in touch via the websites' forums

http://www.ttwar.net or http://www.lfconline.com

...where there will be regular information. Just follow the instructions on how to register for the forum. I know from the forum and emails sent to me that some of you are going to be more interested in the updates of 'The Story So Far'. I have promised to keep it going in some form. It seems a bit unfair to do that particular book now since most of the season's diary has already appeared in issues 77, 78 and 79 but I'll have to think of something as 'The Story' will be somewhat incomplete without March, April and May.

If this is all really confusing I can be contacted via email at sk.ttwandr@hotmail.com and maybe when the season ends i'll have a clearer idea what the hell's going on. Or maybe I'll just spend your cash and move to Brazil.
